As a nonprofit, membership based organization, CYSO engages in joint parent/orchestra member efforts such as the activities listed below. It is important that parents participate in these activities in order to have an ownership stake in the Orchestras and their success. CYSO depends heavily on its parent volunteers, so please take a moment and see if you can provide any of the assistance listed below. We encourage your participation and we welcome your help. Here are some opportunities listed on the form:

• Set up for concerts
• Clean up after concerts
• 6 Reception Workers per concert
• 6 Ushers/ticket takers
• 15 people to bake cookies per concert
• Sell concert tickets: ___at rehearsals ___before concerts
• Supervise orchestra rehearsals
• Supervise during concerts when my child is not on stage
• I have foundation contacts and/or church contacts and will set up a meeting with possible donors
• 8-10 people to work on the Parent Fundraising Committee
• 2 people for marketing, press relations, TV, radio
• music librarians
