The purpose of the Community Support Program is to create a sense of community between CYSO member families and the organization as well as to ensure that volunteers are available and motivated to help with fundraising and program events for CYSO. We rely on you to contact us to set up your volunteer hours.


The hours attributed to the Community Support Program are considered the minimum amount of work time needed to operate the many CYSO events and programs. Please note that completed work deposit hours may be donated back to CYSO as a tax deduction at any point in the season. Additionally, whenever possible, we encourage parents and musicians to “volunteer” and give their time freely.

Community Support Program

FOR PARENTS- PLEASE READ !





CYSO’s “Community Support Program” was designed to create a positive sense of community between CYSO member families and the organization, and to ensure that volunteers are available and motivated to help with CYSO fund raisers, events, concerts, and programs. CYSO TUITION COVERS LESS THAN HALF OF THE ENTIRE OPERATING COST !!! To keep costs down and our program thriving, we need YOUR HELP!


The way the program works is that each family pays a $90 deposit which can be earned back by volunteering. We have many projects, events, concerts, administrative work, and fund raising which require your help. Credit is earned at a rate of $15 per hour so a minimum of six hours is required to earn back your entire deposit.


There are several volunteer positions in which you will automatically have your deposit waived (marked with a star on other side). These positions include: Volunteer Coordinator, and Concert Reception Coordinator. If you are interested in participating in any of these opportunities please directly contact Michelle Eudeikis at 303-871-6365.


During the orientation, we will review the details of this program. You will be invoiced for the work deposit at the end of the summer along with your tuition balance.
