APPLY & AUDITION

AUDITION FOR THE 2024-2025 SEASON

CYSO rehearsals for the 2024-2025 season begin September 2024 at our lovely rehearsal venue.

CYSO accepts video auditions YEAR ROUND!!

**ALL NEW AND RETURNING STUDENTS MUST SUBMIT AN AUDITION FORM AND VIDEO.

At CYSO, we know that in-person auditions and chair tests sometimes don’t highlight students at their very best. All auditions will now be via video submission. Students can record as many times as needed in the comfort of their own home.

Video Audition Submission Steps:

1. Fill out the 2024-2025 audition form by clicking HERE.

2. Pay your $30 audition fee via PayPal using the payment tab.

3. Record a short video containing: 2-3 minutes of a solo/selection of your choice that highlights and showcases your abilities, and email it to cysomichelle@gmail.com.

4. TUITION DEADLINE: OCTOBER 1, 2024

Ensemble Placement:

The following aspects of your playing will be considered concerning your ensemble placement within CYSO:

Overall technique/skill level
Tone quality
Rhythm and Intonation
Musicianship
