CYSO recently donated 86 instruments to the Haiti Youth Orchestra! HYO is an organization under a non-profit called The Road to Hope that was established 15 years ago. Its purpose is to provide access to musical understanding, social growth, and a lifelong love for music. In the words of Zachary Harris, co-founder of HYO, “this was HYO’s single largest donation of instruments ever, and it will allow the gift of music to be shared with so many more deserving Haitian students. It truly means the world to myself and our entire organization, and will make the orchestra so very happy once the shipping container finally arrives there!”
