Due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19 we will not be holding live auditions this year.
Instead we will ask all audition applicants to submit a video audition.

CYSO will have on line programming made in advance featuring professional symphony musicians from all over the United States in case of disruption of our normal rehearsals due to the COVID-19 virus.
The musical experience will not be interrupted!
CYSO will WAIVE the $30 Audition Fee for those who submit their videos between May 26-July 1st!!
VIDEO AUDITION SUBMISSION STEPS:
1. Fill out the 2020-2021 audition form by clicking HERE
2. Record a short video containing: 2-3 minutes of a solo to
VIDEO SUBMISSIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED THROUGH AUGUST!
**Students registered for CYSO's Summer Music Menu are guaranteed a spot for the 2020-2021 CYSO Season! Video audition required for proper ensemble placement only.

2020-2021 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS TO INCLUDE:
Performance of the National Anthem at a Denver Nuggets game to be televised (with or without an audience!)
Masterclasses with members of the Colorado Symphony

In deciding on your placement with the CYSO, the following aspects of your playing will be considered:
